The second round of presidential elections produced no surprises other than a stronger than expected showing from Jarosław Kaczyński but Bronoisław Komorowski won with a margin of over 5%.
The breakdown of the provinces went as follows: 9 western provinces went to Komorowski whereas 7 eastern provinces went to Kaczyński.
